This initiative has been met with widespread approval and support from the NHS national bodies, colleagues throughout NHS hospital Trusts and Health Boards, commercial providers and supply chain partners.
As a result of the resounding support, 15th June 2022 has been announced as National Healthcare Estates and Facilities Day.
We are incredibly proud to work with NHS estates and facilities teams up and down the UK. We want to show our support for this day in recognition of the work our clients do.
This will be an occasion for organisations to celebrate the work of their Estates & Facilities heroes! Nationally, estates and facilities services are estimated to make up 8% of the NHS workforce. That’s a huge 250,000 people. Keep an eye on social media as the whole country will be getting behind the campaign and showing what their E&F teams do on a daily basis. Use the hashtag #HealthEFMDay if you are sharing what you do on a daily basis or how your organisation is celebrating the day.
